Jim has been part of Glasgow based design consultancy Graven Images since 1992, working on a full range of projects across the hotel, leisure, corporate and exhibition sectors.
His recent projects including the design of Tigerlily, a multi award-winning boutique hotel for Montpeliers in
Currently Jim is leading a number of hotel projects in the UK and Europe, including the development and design of a new hotel brand with the Milan-based fashion house Missoni and the Rezidor Hotel Group in locations such as St Petersburg, London and Edinburgh. He is also working on the design of a new hotel in Sofia, the development of a large hotel property in the west end of London and a new 5 star boutique hotel and spa on the site of the former RSAC Club in Blythswood Square Glasgow.
His previous experience spans leisure, corporate, retail and exhibition sectors, as project designer on Tun Ton, Red Lemon, Room at the Top, Cube, Blue Square, Brunswick Hotel, The Sub Club and the award-winning Collage Bar.

Jim was also lead designer on the design of “Lagune” a 500-cover restaurant for Volkswagen AG in Germany.
In complete contrast he managed to sustain a part time professional football career for 12 years with various clubs in Scotland and is currently putting the finishing touches to a book of poetry and drawings that he is hoping to publish.
