The Interiors Forum Scotland Objectives We are striving to::

Interior & Environmental Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the
Interior Design at Glasgow School of Art
Interior Architecture at
initiate annual conferences, workshops, symposia and publications which place Interior Design/Interior Architecture at the heart of critical debate
act as an advocate for all aspects of Scottish Interior Design/Interior Architecture undergarduate and postgraduate degree programmes
liaise with, advise, and share good practice with UK and international Interior organisations, academic research groups and innovative practitioners
influence educational policy makers and collaborate with colleagues at secondary and further educational levels in Art & Design
support diversity and promote the distinctiveness of the Scottish higher education sector internationally
disseminate and publish the results of annual research conferences
enrich the learning experience of undergraduate and postgraduate students by linking research appropriately into teaching
foster a spirit of collaboration and sharing of good practice across national and international frameworks
make a significant Scottish contribution to the emerging international body of Interior Design/Interior Architecture theory and discourse
represent the IFS and the Scottish sector at international conferences
